The intrepid tourists have come together and sucessfully transferred to the "King of the Mountain" lodgings to begin our alpine cycling adventures.
Not a lot to say, pickups and travelling without mishap is good but not particularly news worthy. I'm happy that all is going to plan and looking forward to a ride up Alpe de Huez tomorrow. King of the Mountain is as I remembered, comfortable, personable and Helen's cooking is still outstanding.
The bikes are together and tested on "the driveway", a 7 Km 400 m climb which will welcome us home at the end of each days riding.....,not so bad on a cool evening with fresh legs, see how it feels next time?
No photos this time, will have do do better tomorrow, but now it's late and I'm tired, so....
