Last ride of the alps was a tour of the valley via minor roads and villages suspended on the alpine mountain sides of the valley. Plenty of climbing, just over 2000 metres in total over a distance of 80 km and once again spectacular scenery which would be difficult to adequately describe. The few photos attached give a hint of how it is......
As per usual the hills were steep, but not quite so long this time, the descents exhilarating, but taken with a little more caution following a blown tire while descending yesterday, the weather continues to be co-operative with rainfall being restricted to evenings and early mornings and the outstanding food and hospitality adds to the experience.
As per usual we are all tired and most have abandoned to bed. I will not be saying much more tonight as I too need my beauty sleep in prep for tomorrows trip to the Pyrannees and stage 2 of our tour.
So goodnight for now

Did you do that in big ring like Andy did in 2010?
